Message from President James Shillitto

Brothers and Sisters after another summer of disruptions to daily life and working under extreme conditions, it's time to take a break. And that break has become hallowed as Labor Day.

Union Brothers and Sisters who came before us fought for our rights, all in pursuit of human dignity and respect. This is what Labor Day honors, remembers, and celebrates working men and women who just need a break.

On behalf of the Officers and Executive Board of Local 1-2, we wish you the happiest, healthiest and fun-filled weekend with friends and family this Labor Day weekend 2022.

I want to invite each and every Member and their friends and families to join us at the Labor Day Parade, Saturday, September 10. Local 1-2 will have fellowship and refreshments where we form up at E. 46th St. and Vanderbilt Ave. come early for fun and March with us as we step off at Noon.
