Mineworkers at Warrior Met Coal in Alabama have been on strike since April 1. With management refusing to meet the workers contract demands, a group of strikers along with fellow mineworkers from Alabama, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio are coming to NYC on Wednesday, July 28th to Rally in front of Warrior Met’s largest shareholder, BlackRock Fund Advisors.

The strikers will Rally from 9am-12pm at 40 East 52nd Street in Manhattan. We are asking any members that are available to join the striking workers and show them that UWUA Local 1-2 supports them in their fight for better wages and a better life. More details about the rally are below.
