UWUA celebrates our veterans! We caught up with Darryl Taylor, Senior Business Agent for UWUA Local 1-2 to ask how his time in the military shaped his life and his work in the utility sector:

“The military instilled in me a CAN-DO attitude. It has played a major role in my drive as an organizational leader within my union, my lodge, and in life. I continue to be detail-oriented and work daily to create new leaders to help with various assignments. A major agenda on my leadership trestle board is to groom new leaders for our future. It’s time for us to heal and come together as one. The world has been through enough in 2020. Stand Strong Soldier, Stand Upright in your stations and places in the world.”
