Not Being Paid Properly Is Something This Union Will Never Accept

When I became President, I made a commitment and promise not only to engage this membership face to face but to make everyone’s life better. After visiting yard after yard and hearing the same outcry over and over about nightmare payroll issues – members not receiving their proper wages for hours worked, members struggling to pay their bills, members who could not provide for their families – what saddened me the most was seeing members thinking this was normal and acceptable. After countless times trying to work with Con Edison to fix these issues, it’s time we hold them accountable. We have researched, along with the powerful law firm of Attorney Donte Mills, and found the act of not paying proper wages on time to be not only immoral but, in fact, illegal.

LASTLY, I am asking any member of this local who has been a victim of missed wages to sign up for this suit. We also stand united with local 503, lead by Melissa Kurtz and urge their membership to join as well. Not being paid properly is something this union will never accept.

Fraternally,
Frank Morales
President
