Local 1-2 Brothers and Sisters,

We have less than 12 hours to go. At this point, we continue to make slow progress, because Con Edison continues to drag their feet. 

The contract we deserve probably won’t be delivered until minutes before the deadline, and if not, we will walk. Here is what you should know until then. 

-Strike materials have been delivered to strike captains. 

-Prior to the deadline Strike captains will be deployed to the respective yards for the first shifts. They are as follows

•  Manhattan, 4 Irving Pl
• Brooklyn, 3rd Ave Yard, and 30 Flatbush, 
• Queens, Astoria and College Point, 
• Bronx, Van Nest and Bruckner, 
• Westchester, Eastview and Rye.  

We understand this can be a difficult and stressful time but let me remind you. We are Utility Workers, We are a collective bargaining unit, We don’t back down, We fight like hell.
