On March 2nd at 6 p.m., join us for the Worker Power for Climate, Jobs, and Justice Town Hall.

In this special event, you will hear from labor and climate leaders, on how climate change impacts workers and how we can move New York toward a renewable energy economy through the Climate Act and the new Climate, Jobs, and Justice Legislative Package.

Join us to talk about the impacts of climate change on you in your home and on the job, learn about the CJJP package, ask questions, and strategize on how we can win good green jobs, clean air, and green homes for all New Yorkers.

I will be one of the speakers at the event and will be on a panel along with labor leaders from other unions including DC37, UWUA, NYSNA, and UAW 9A.

RSVP

The labor movement and the climate justice movement worked together to pass the groundbreaking Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA, 2019), creating the most aggressive climate mandates in the country. The Climate, Jobs & Justice Package (CJJP) is the next step needed to reach those climate goals.

Join our town hall to make sure workers have a voice in tackling the climate crisis, learn how we can win the Climate Jobs, and Justice Package, create green union jobs, and make sure no worker gets left behind in our transition to a green economy.
