A Message from President James Schillitto

I am very excited to announce that UWUA Local 1-2 has decided to invest in our union's communications. We have a series of new communication tools planned. The first is this professional e-newsletter we are calling STRONGER NOW - The Voice of Local 1-2

We will be sending this email to the membership on a regular basis with upcoming events, reports from the union, community service, political action, bargaining updates, and reminders of upcoming meetings and social outings. We have retained the UCOMM Media Group to assist us in this endeavor. UCOMM works with 40+ other local unions and labor councils in the Northeast including Local 3 IBEW in New York City, IBEW 1049 on Long Island, the Long Island Federation of Labor, and UWUA 601 in New Jersey just to name a few. Working with our leadership team, UCOMM is building a new mobile-friendly website with photo and video galleries, social network sharing options, news feeds, and important upcoming event listings. We are also developing an app-like mobile shortcut so you can stay connected with your union when on the go.
