The members of UWUA Local 1-2 working for NYPA unanimously ratified its collective bargaining agreement with the New York Power Authority with no give backs. In the first year 2023, we accepted a 3.5% pay increase, retro back to 1/1/2023. We agreed to a 3.25% annual increase for 2024 to 2027. Premium pay went up from 10% to 12% with no increase in the medical benefits. Juneteenth is now a paid holiday and we accepted a $2,000 ratification bonus. Many thanks to the membership and the bargaining team for all their efforts during the collective bargaining process.
