Greetings, for the end of 2020 and the dawn of 2021.

Your Officers and the Executive Board wish you and yours a healthy, happy and secure New Year as 2021 arrives.

For many of us the end of 2020 cannot come soon enough. But even with the CoVid pandemic raging Local 1-2 came through. We continued our vital work to keep our friends and neighbors supplied with the power they need. We suffered losses and setbacks like the rest of the world. Unlike the rest of the world, Local 1-2 Brothers and Sisters are not afforded the luxury of shutting ourselves away from society. We HAVE to show up, like police and firefighters and nurses and doctors. Our mission is no less mandatory as other Front-Line workers.

Take pride that we are First Responders and we kept society functioning when so many felt helpless and lost. What a year 2020 has been. Once again, Local 1-2 Members came through as the silent heroes. Each and every one of you deserves thanks. Take a bow! Here is to a brighter, safer, healthier 2021 and taking your Union to new heights. Happy New Year!
