By enrolling in these plans, you will receive cash benefits at time of claims which can be used to help pay for expenses in treatment for illnesses or injuries at time of claim. The cash benefits you receive are intended to assist with expenses not covered by your health insurance such as loss of income, medical co-pays and deductibles, transportation and other out of pocket expenses. You decide how to use it. Keep in mind, despite your medical condition, you will need to continue paying your daily living expense i.e. can’t turn off your cellphone, car insurance, utilities- all are necessary. You get to decide how to use the benefits you receive from Aflac.
